The client hired me as their videographer and video editor for their dance video. We have many meetings before the shoot to figure out what they want and how the story or flow of the video will come together. So I did the videography and a little bit of directing. One thing that bothers me is the video quality after the shoot, which I understand given that they are students on a tight budget. My goal is to capture the dancers' energy and emotion with dynamic camera movements and thoughtful editing, focusing on rhythm, choreography, and visual storytelling. By combining artistic direction with technical precision, I hope to bring out the best in the performers while also producing a visually stunning and engaging video.
